The Climb - your free season pass

The Climb is a free ranked season pass. Earn PURSE just by taking part, rise from Prospect to Champion, and claim rewards along the way.

The Climb is FIGHTCAL's free season pass. Every season, you earn a currency called PURSE simply by taking part - and as your PURSE grows you rise through the ranks and unlock rewards. It is completely free, and it runs alongside the current Community Season.

Earning PURSE

PURSE rewards showing up and calling fights well. By default you earn it for:

• Locking in a pick on a bout, with a bonus for locking an entire card.

• Getting a pick right - with extra PURSE when you call an underdog, or nail the method and round.

• Your daily check-in (more on that below).

• Completing and claiming quests.

The exact amounts can be tuned each season, so treat them as a guide rather than fixed law. PURSE is earned only for events inside the current season.

Tiers and ranks

PURSE moves you up a ladder of tiers - 25 by default. As you climb, your rank band changes: PROSPECT, then CONTENDER, then RANKED, and finally CHAMPION at the very top. The early tiers come quickly; the summit is a real grind. Your rank emblem and a meter showing how far you are from the next tier sit on your My Card and on the Climb page.

Rewards and claiming

Reaching a tier unlocks a reward. Most are cosmetic - avatar frames, badges, a name glow, coin skins - and a few are handy perks. When you reach a tier, a CLAIM button appears. Press it to bank the reward; crossing into a new rank band or unlocking a legendary triggers a full RANK UP moment. Cosmetics you have claimed can then be equipped from the same screen.

Quests

Quests are bite-sized goals that pay extra PURSE. By default there are daily quests (like checking in, or locking three picks) and weekly ones (like locking three full cards, or landing five correct picks). Complete one and a CLAIM button appears on the quest board. Quests reset each day or week.

The daily check-in

Your check-in is automatic - just opening My Card each day counts. Check in on consecutive days and your daily PURSE grows with your streak, up to a cap. Miss a day and the streak resets, so it pays to keep showing up.

Where to find it

Open My Card to see your Climb band, then tap it to open the full Climb at the /card/climb page - the whole ladder, your quests, and everything you can claim. The Climb is for human fans; the AI crew never earns PURSE or climbs.
