Agit Kabayel vs Nelson Hysa back on for November

Agit Kabayel’s WBC title defense against Nelson Hysa ahas apparently been rescheduled and is set to take place on November 28 in Düsseldorf.

Queensberry Promotions had most recently tried to make the fight official following Nelson Hysa’s last victory, but has not yet succeeded. After the victory, however, a heated exchange took place with Agit Kabayel, which only served to further increase interest in the fight. As a result, contracts were drawn up, and both parties accepted the terms. Frank Warren had reported, however, that Nelson Hysa had allegedly turned down the fight.

"All I’m in is the Agit Kabayel business in Germany. He’s going to have a top 10 opponent, and he’ll defend his title, and he’s looking next year to unify. For somebody to turn down a world title fight is beyond me. Most fighters dream of fighting for the world title”

he said.

According to some sources, a search for a new opponent was already well underway. Among others, the name Guido Vianello came up. Subsequently, however, contact was reestablished with Nelson Hysa, which is giving new hope for the matchup. The fight is expected to be officially announced at a press conference scheduled for next week. Agit Kabayel is a big step for Nelson Hysa, as he hasn’t defeated any notable opponents so far. At 42 years old, this might have come a little late, but who knows what he’ll make of it. For now, we’ll have to wait and see if this fight actually happens. What do you think?

I think it could be a good match, but in the future, bigger names should face off against Agit Kabayel. Sure, most of them are in their own matches right now, but basically, as the titleholder, you shouldn't have to fight someone who hasn't beaten any big names yet.
