Asaf Chopurov signs with UFC ahead of October debut

Undefeated bantamweight set for UFC 333 debut against Colby Thicknesse

The UFC has signed one of the most sought-after bantamweights in MMA, Asaf Chopurov.

In addition to his impressive professional record of 11-0, he also boasts an amateur record of 34-1. The 24-year-old is now set to join a leading MMA promotion. His debut is scheduled for October, where he is set to face another up-and-coming fighter.

Asaf Chopurov is a training partner of UFC champion Petr Yan. He is set to face Colby Thicknesse in his UFC debut on October 24, while Petr Yan will face Merab Dvalishvili at the same event.

Asaf Chopurov has finished 10 of his 11 professional fights early so far. Although the undefeated fighter still has a long way to go before a possible title shot, he would be a potential contender who could really make it to the top in the UFC. What do you think?
