Ben Whittaker aims to shut down Conor Wallace
Whittaker enters another key test on his path to a title shot.

Ben Whittaker spent the summer at a grueling training camp and is now apparently ready to go all out to win a world championship title.
Ben Whittaker is still considered one of the next big stars in British boxing and could theoretically follow in the footsteps of the likes of Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury. Tonight, however, he’ll have to prove himself once again against Conor Wallace to take the next step toward the top. The winner of tonight’s bout will put himself in a pretty good position for a title shot. Conor Wallace is ranked ahead of Ben Whittaker, but he’s going into the fight as the underdog. Ben Whittaker is confident he’ll send his opponent home again tonight.
"He's a decent fighter, he's ranked above me on paper and he's obviously coming thinking he can win, but I just feel like if this was in the amateur game, and I drew him, I'd have probably text my dad and said, 'Oh man, what a draw this is. I feel like I'm just levels above. I'm in this position for a reason; he's coming over to my place, Birmingham, and it's just for me to shut him down"
he said.
We can look forward to seeing what’s in store for us tonight. As I said, it’s a very important matchup for both of them, and maybe it’ll turn out to be more exciting than expected. What do you think, will Ben Whittaker live up to his role as the favorite?
I think he will. I believe he’s on such a strong roll right now that he wouldn’t lose a matchup like this. That’s why my prediction is as follows:
