Billam-Smith seeks revenge against Clarke

Chris Billam-Smith is convinced that he wants to settle old scores with Cheavon Clarke.

The match is set to take place on November 7, with Chris Billam-Smith seeking revenge for an incident that happened 10 years ago and still falls within the amateur ranks. In 2016, the two faced off in the final of the National Elite Amateur Championships, but Chris Billam-Smith lost to Cheavon Clarke, missing out on the title he desperately wanted.

"It's still that elusive ABA title which he took from me. He got the nod, deservedly so, I'm not going to cry about, I'm just going to put it right on November 7“

But now this bout is looking a lot more exciting. Both boxers are coming into this fight on the back of strong performances. Chris Billam-Smith ut on a strong showing against Ryan Rozicki, who was forced to stop after the seventh round, and Cheavon Clarke defeated Jack Massey with a strong comeback after struggling to find his rhythm in the early rounds. Here, he proved just how dangerous he can actually be. He was knocked down twice in the same round but fought his way back with impressive speed and ended up finishing the fight early after all. On top of that, he’s quite experienced and has great stamina. So it won’t be an easy fight for Chris Billam-Smith, and we can really look forward to seeing how it turns out. What do you think?
