Conor Benn open to Conor McGregor fight
Roy Jones Jr. believes Benn should face McGregor before completing his trilogy with Chris Eubank Jr.

Conor Benn has agreed to fight Conor McGregor. This brings a potential crossover bout into the conversation, after he was stopped by Ryan Garcia in just two rounds back in September.
Conor Benn reacted on Instagram to a fictional fight poster announcing a bout between him and the UFC star. So far, however, there’s been no word of any negotiations, as Conor McGregor is still recovering from his knee injury.
Roy Jones Jr. even thinks this fight is a good idea and believes it would be just the thing for Conor Benn to get back on track. After that, he says Benn should face Chris Eubank Jr. to conclude their trilogy.
“A Conor McGregor fight would be a lot more in Conor Benn’s lane. I think if I had my dream wish for Conor Benn, it would be to fight Conor McGregor, and then to finish off with Chris Eubank and call it a day. That’s two big-time multimillion-dollar fights. Zuffa makes their money back that they put into him, and we call it a day”
Jones obviously sees this as two very lucrative paydays for Conor Benn. From a sporting perspective, Conor Benn would be the clear favorite against Conor McGregor in boxing. The appeal would lie more in the financial aspect. From a sporting standpoint, the bout against Chris Eubank Jr. would be significantly more interesting, as it would finally settle a very long-standing rivalry, since it would be the third and decisive bout. What do you think of the rumors?
I’m just wondering why the fight against Conor McGregor is being considered first. I’d say Conor Benn should definitely prioritize the fight against Chris Eubank Jr. instead of risking a loss which could ruin his career. What do you think?
