Dana White addresses Rakhmonov vs Morales rumors

The UFC CEO hints at upcoming announcements as the welterweight title picture develops.

Dana White has commented on the speculation surrounding the UFC welterweight title.

Recently, Shavkat Rakhmonov and Michael Morales have been heavily linked to the title. At the same time, Carlos Prates is considered the No. 1 contender for a title fight against Islam Makhachev. The UFC CEO didn’t make anything official, but he didn’t downplay it either. The rumor had been fueled on social media regarding Shavkat Rakhmonov and Michael Morales, and White has now effectively confirmed it.

“Could be, could be… If it was done, we would announce it, but yeah, we actually have a lot of cool stuff going on right now that we went over yesterday. Yeah, we got a lot of good announcements coming up”

Shavkat Rakhmonov hasn't fought since his victory over Ian Machado Garry. Since then, he's been dealing with persistent knee problems that have kept him from fighting again so far. Still, a match against Michael Morales would be pretty interesting, and it didn't sound like a bad idea, either. What do you think?
