Dana White believes Terence Crawford could return

Dana White claimed in an interview that Terence Crawford might return to the ring for the right fight.

The UFC CEO was recently asked whether the now-retired Terence Crawford might one day compete for Zuffa Boxing. Dana White believes that Terence Crawford would reverse his retirement if he were offered the right fight.

Terence Crawford announced his retirement last December following a victory over Saul Alvarez. With that win, he became a champion in three different weight classes. However, the undefeated 38-year-old has recently hinted that he might return to face Jaron Ennis. Looking at the stats, this would be a pretty well-matched bout, as Terence Crawford is 42-0 and Jaron Ennis is 36-0. However, Dana White was asked specifically about this topic when he appeared on the “Night Cap” podcast.

“If I went to Crawford with the right fight, Crawford would fight”

he said.

Terence Crawford recently took to social media to hint at a fight against Jaron Ennis. This is the first time since his retirement that he has reportedly said he's ready to fight again. He wrote:

“I wanna see something! Yall wanna see me come back and fight so bad don’t yall? [Ennis] would you fight me next if I come outta retirement?”

Jaron Ennis actually responded positively and agreed. That means we might actually get to see this matchup happen, which would be absolutely crazy. What do you guys think?

I think this could be a very exciting matchup. Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of boxers coming out of retirement just to have one more fight, because they often ruin their legacy that way, but I’m really curious to see what we’ll see there.
