Dana White gives worrying update on Fury-Joshua
UFC president has no clear answers amid promotional dispute

Just two days after the official announcement about Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, there were already reports that the fight was running into trouble again. Yesterday was the Zuffa Boxing event, and of course, there was a lot of talk about the topic there as well. Dana White was asked two questions, to which he responded with a lack of knowledge. He was asked if the fight would really take place now, to which he replied:
"I don't know"
He also couldn't give a clear answer to the next question: whether the press conference scheduled for Wednesday would actually take place. On Thursday, everything seemed to be in order, and the boxing world breathed a sigh of relief. But a day later, on Friday, reports surfaced again that there were problems. The reason is a dispute over who has the right to promote the event. Turki Alalshikh and White announced the good news, while Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn were not present. Hearn, who has been promoting Anthony Joshua since the beginning of his career, claims that Anthony Joshua’s contract explicitly excludes promotion by Dana White and TKO. That’s why he’s once again alleging a breach of contract and calling the fight into question. On Saturday evening, White said he was unaware of the details surrounding the fight. But there was one thing he could do: criticize Eddie Hearn.
"The guy who is supposed to be helping the fight has been hurting the fight. He hasn't done the fight any favors"
he said.
So it's another promotional feud. The fight is basically a done deal, but who knows what these guys are capable of. Everyone should know by now that Hearn and White don't like each other and have been feuding for a long time. Still, you'd think they'd show a little more restraint on an issue like this. What do you think?
