Daniel Dubois looks ahead to Itauma vs Hrgović
Dubois expects a tough fight between Itauma and Hrgović

Daniel Dubois is one of those who is also really looking forward to this weekend’s bout between Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgović. Daniel Dubois himself fought Filip Hrgović in July 2024 for the IBF world title, emerging victorious. It was also Filip Hrgović´s first defeat. Since then, however, he’s bounced back, defeating Joe Joyce and David Adeleye. In his last fight in May, he also won by TKO in the third round against Dave Allen.
Moses Itauma, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. He’s young and still relatively inexperienced. Nevertheless, he has certainly earned this fight. He has 14 wins in 14 fights, including 12 knockouts, all of which came in the first six rounds. Filip Hrgović will definitely be his toughest test yet.
Daniel Dubois told Queensberry Promotions in an interview how much he’s looking forward to the fight.
"I've shared the ring with Hrgovic. Tough, animal-like guy, experienced. It’s going to be a fight I’m definitely watching. And I think the whole division, the whole world’s going to be watching. Great dust up. Let’s see what Moses can do”
The fight will take place this Saturday and was recently upgraded to an IBF World Championship bout. This means it’s not just a tough test for Moses Itauma, both fighters are also competing for a world championship title. It’s going to be an incredible fight, so please leave your predictions here if you have a favorite.
I’ve already made my prediction, and I actually see Moses Itauma coming out on top. I think he has what it takes to make a big comeback, and I’m really excited to see how the fight actually turns out.
