David Price predicts Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn
David Price explains why he sees Ryan Garcia beating Conor Benn

Conor Benn will face Ryan Garcia later this year, a matchup that many believe will have a clear winner. Former heavyweight David Price also has a clear opinion on this and shared it in an interview.
The main reason many believe this fight will have a clear outcome is the weight class. The bout will take place at 147 pounds, which means Conor Benn will have to make a significant weight cut. This will be his first fight at that weight in four years, and many see this as a physically demanding challenge.
In terms of competition level, Conor Benn is also stepping up significantly. In two of his last three fights, he faced Chris Eubank Jr., losing the first bout decisively on points. In the rematch six months later, he was able to turn the result around; however, many believe that Chris Eubank Jr. has lost a bit of his edge in the meantime due to fighting at the 160-pound weight class.
Conor Benn then returned to the ring in April, this time against Regis Prograis. Although he won the fight by decision, Conor Benn, fighting at 150 pounds, no longer seemed to be at his former level.
And it’s precisely all these factors that lead most people to see Ryan Garcia as the clear favorite. On the podcast “The Smith Brothers: Not A Podcast,” David Price also spoke out in his favor.
“Two big names. Big, big fight. Yeah, I think so [Garcia wins], I think his hand speed, Conor Benn’s got good hand speed, but I think Garcia’s hand speed could make a difference in the fight”
he said.
Ryan Garcia won the title just earlier this year. However, he had already faced world-class fighters like Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney in the ring several times before that. Even though he lost to Gervonta Davis and his victory over Devin Haney was overturned, he has shown solid performance. So it will be very exciting to see whether Conor Benn can still keep up, or whether the weight class was simply not a good choice. In David Price's opinion, Ryan Garcia will definitely win the fight. His prediction looks as follows:
For me personally, Ryan Garcia is also a favorite. That said, you can't completely rule out Conor Benn, he's just too talented for that. I'm really excited to see what happens that night.
