Diego Pacheco Signs New Matchroom Deal!
Diego Pacheco secures renewed Matchroom deal despite criticism after Kevin Lele Sadjo fight, with July 18 bout set to mark his next step forward

Diego Pacheco , who faced heavy criticism following his victory over Kévin Lele Sadjo and whose future with Matchroom had been called into question, has now signed a new promotional contract with Matchroom Boxing and will face Immanuwel Aleem on July 18.
As mentioned earlier, after his fight against Kévin Lele Sadjo, he faced heavy criticism for his boxing style, leading some fans to wonder whether Matchroom would even offer him a new contract.
Since the fight against Kévin Lele Sadjo, however, Diego Pacheco has made many changes outside the ring. He joined a management company and is now also working with experienced boxing manager Robert Diaz. Diaz appears very confident and said:
“I’m looking forward to taking him to the world title"
That might be because, despite the criticism, Diego Pacheco still has an impressive record of 25-0 (18 KOs) and is still ranked among the top 10 in his weight class.
Personally, I understand the criticism, but you also have to recognize what a great fighter he is. Many people don't like him because of his boxing style, but the results speak for themselves. I'm curious to see what the future holds for him under Matchroom.
