Dubois eyes Kabayel unification fight in February
Frank Warren considers the German champion as a potential next opponent for Dubois.

Daniel Dubois could be back in the ring as early as February, possibly in a bout against Agit Kabayel.
Daniel Dubois successfully defended his WBO title this weekend, which means he can finally focus on a new opponent instead of having to face Fabio Wardley for a third time. Agit Kabayel, on the other hand, still has his own fight ahead of him, not until late November. However, if he wins that bout, a unification bout could be on the table, according to Frank Warren.
“He’ll fight in February, we are going to see what happens. Let’s see the outcome because that would be a fantastic unification scrap”
Warren told talkSPORT.
Agit Kabayel would be a whole new challenge for Daniel Dubois. The German consistently applies pressure and relies on powerful body shots that gradually wear down his opponents. The only problem would likely be the schedule. If Agit Kabayel fights in late November and is scheduled to fight again in February, that would be a pretty short recovery period for him. A bout in the spring or summer would be better. However, there’s another name in the mix: Filip Hrgović, who is desperate for a rematch against Daniel Dubois. Both would be very interesting bouts, but from a practical standpoint, a fight between Daniel Dubois and Agit Kabayel would be the better option.
