Ewing out of UFC 329 vs Basharat due to injury!

Ethyn Ewing has unfortunately had to withdraw from UFC 329 due to an injury.

The American bantamweight fighter, who pulled off a major upset in his UFC debut last November after accepting the fight with just two days’ notice, was originally scheduled to face Farid Basharat on the preliminary card of UFC 329. However, it has now been reported that Ethyn Ewing suffered an unspecified injury and will be unable to compete. This is particularly unfortunate for him because, as mentioned, he only made his UFC debut last November, and won that fight. He built on that success with another victory in April and was hoping to continue that winning streak.

The UFC is now actively searching for a replacement to face Farid Basharat. The 29-year-old boasts a 15-0 record as a pro, and he, too, won his last fight by split decision.

The main event that evening will feature the long awaited comeback of Conor McGregor, who will face Max Holloway. It’s a big night that many eyes will be on, which makes participating even more interesting for newcomers. It remains to be seen if, and who will step in for the injured Ethyn Ewing. Since the event is taking place in 11 days, it would be a last-minute decision.
