Fury loses patience with the Joshua fight

The long-awaited mega-fight could be in serious danger.

Fury loses patience with the Joshua fight

Tyson Fury seems to have finally lost patience with the prospect of a fight between him and Anthony Joshua. Both have been trying to organize this fight for months, but there have always been difficulties. However, it was clear to most people that this fight would take place. The first doubts arose when it was reported that negotiations over the venue had stalled. Tyson Fury’s camp announced that they want the fight to take place in the U.S., while Anthony Joshua and the head of Matchroom Boxing want the fight to take place in England. However, assurances were subsequently given that the fight would indeed take place. Now Tyson Fury has spoken up again on Instagram, and the news isn’t good. He said that Anthony Joshua is trying to avoid the fight and accused him of not wanting to fight at all. He also claims that Anthony Joshua could have received a lot of money up front if he had simply agreed to the venue. He went on to explain that he’s already looking for other opponents.

"I've been ready every time. Every single time. But one thing I won’t be doing is wasting my later years at 38 years old with a freak who doesn’t want to fight. So, I will move on… There are plenty of world champions out there who do want to fight, who do want to make some money, so I’ll be giving them a knock. This is going nowhere. As always, 10 years later, still in the same boat. Still dragging on by a mouthpiece who’s an absolute piece of sh*t”

He said.

It's a little sad that we might never get to see the fight, but if one side refuses to engage, there's unfortunately nothing we can do.
