Brazilian Gabriel Bonfim climbed to No. 7 in the welterweight division following his dominant victory over former champion Belal Muhammad

Gabriel Bonfim won all five rounds on every scorecard, securing a decisive unanimous decision. This marked his fifth consecutive victory, bringing his record to 20-1. With these stats, he should have gained a lot of confidence by now and can go into his next fight with full energy.

His next opponent hasn’t been determined yet, but after his victory, he challenged Jack Della Maddalena , who is also a former champion. Whether that will actually happen remains to be seen, but it would still be an interesting fight.

Personally, I’m not sure if a fight against Jack Della Maddalena would be the right move. I always like to be surprised, but this seems rather pointless to me. In my opinion, he should continue to take on fights that perhaps don’t carry as much risk. I’m very curious to see how his career unfolds, and I hope he makes the right decision for himself.
