Haney signs exclusive multi-fight deal with DAZN
The American wants bigger fights while building his own promotional stable.

Devin Haney and DAZN have reportedly entered into an exclusive partnership for several bouts. At the same time, he plans to expand his own promotion to effectively support other boxers and develop future world champions. However, a specific next opponent has not yet been announced. Devin Haney explained that he likes to focus on big things in his career. In doing so, he wants not only to work on himself but also to help young fighters improve and develop. With this move to DAZN, he is now making a lot possible, and that is likely exactly his goal.
“I’m at a point in my career where I want the biggest challenges and the fights the fans want to see”
Devin Haney said.
Zuffa Boxing had also been interested in him for a long time, and the amount he was reportedly offered there was apparently even higher than what he’s now getting from DAZN. However, he himself had the problem of feeling like he wouldn’t really get to fight in big bouts there, since under Zuffa it can be difficult to face big names. Most recently, Liam Paro was discussed as a possible opponent. The unification bout is reportedly set to take place later this year, but more specific details are still pending.
It’s an exciting situation right now, and the move to DAZN is bringing some fresh momentum as well. What do you think?
I think it’s basically a good idea. I believe he’ll be able to have some cool fights there that he wouldn’t have been able to have elsewhere. I think it was the right decision for him.
