Jake Paul cleared to fight, eyes UFC stars
Paul has recovered from his broken jaw and named several high-profile potential opponents, including Sean Strickland and Conor McGregor.

According to his promoter, Jake Paul has received medical clearance to return to the ring after Anthony Joshua broke his jaw in a bout last year.
Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of MVP, announced on Thursday that Jake Paul has now been officially cleared to fight again. The former YouTuber also released a list of potential opponents who could be considered at this time. Among them are several MMA fighters currently under contract with the UFC. The list includes names such as:
The names are absolutely crazy and pose a big challenge. However, someone has already responded. Sean Strickland wrote:
"I gotta be honest, unless things change with the UFC I'm kinda over it. McGregor makes 30 million to fight for 30 seconds and they don't want to pay us a fraction of it. Contemplating just going to 205 [pounds], knocking out my contract and scrapping with [Jake Paul]. That sounds fun“
Jake Paul, who has long been advocating for better pay within the UFC, was quick to respond, noting that Sean Strickland doesn’t currently have a contract and that he'd be better off reaching out to MVP. It’ll be interesting to see what else is in store for us. Jake Paul has already mentioned that he’d love to be able to stage bouts within his own promotion. Let’s see how far he gets with that idea in this case.
