Jake Paul plans MMA debut after Anthony Joshua loss
Jake Paul is preparing a comeback and eyes MMA fights.

For everyone who thought Jake Paul would end his career after his jaw injury against Anthony Joshua, there’s important news. He’s apparently planning a comeback, and possibly even in MMA.
Over the past few years, Jake Paul has built a lucrative career by primarily fighting older fighters or even retired fighters. Among them were former MMA champions as well as several boxers, such as Mike Tyson . His only fight against a young professional boxer, Tommy Fury, ended in a loss.
His last fight was actually supposed to be against Gervonta Davis, but due to serious allegations against Gervonta Davis, Jake Paul had to find another opponent to save a Netflix deal. Instead, he faced Anthony Joshua, who broke his jaw in the sixth round. After this defeat, many thought he would hang up his gloves, but that’s not the case.
“I’m going to get cleared officially to spar in the next couple of weeks so we're going to get back to it and keep on fighting. Maybe I’ll do some MMA, we’ve got a lot of stuff with MVP coming soon, big promotions getting more into the whole MMA world.”
he said.
With his promotion, Most Valuable Promotions, he wants to aim higher and give the others a run for their money. To that end, he wants to continue putting on big fights and mentioned some very interesting names.
I want to do MMA. We've been trying to make the Nate Diaz MMA fight happen for a long time and I think it’s still on the table so we’ll see what happens.”
he said.
Nate Diaz is a very experienced fighter who has been through a lot in his career. With a record of 21 wins and 14 losses, he retired from the UFC in 2022. He’s now also under contract with MVP and has organized several fights there. So if Jake Paul really wants to fight Nate Diaz, he definitely still needs a lot of training. He’s actually talked about this himself, though, and acknowledged his clear disadvantage. What do you think about the future of Jake Paul?
Personally, I also thought that Jake Paul would end his career after his tough loss to Anthony Joshua. The fact that he’s still setting his sights on MMA, though, surprises me a little. I’m very curious to see what he’ll pull off there and how he’ll fare. To be honest, my expectations are pretty low.
