Fisher faces Michael Pirotton in his first fight under Zuffa Boxing

Johnny Fisher returns on September 26 to the venue that has shaped his career in both positive and negative ways. There, he will fight his first bout under his new promoter.

Johnny Fisher will face Belgian Michael Pirotton in his Zuffa Boxing debut. This will be his third main event at the Copper Box Arena. In July 2024, he convincingly defeated Alen Babić there in the first round. However, a year later, he also suffered the first loss of his career there against Dave Allen in the fifth round.

Now, though, Johnny Fisher seems to be feeling quite optimistic again and is looking forward to his upcoming bout.

“I can’t wait to be back at the Copper Bosh on September 26 and bring another huge night of boxing to London. Pirotton is an experienced, powerful heavyweight who can’t be taken lightly”

he said.

Michael Pirotton has spent most of his career in Belgium and will be fighting in England for the first time. He has never been knocked down in his 14 professional fights, so he poses a serious challenge for Johnny Fisher. Johnny Fisher calls the fight a “golden ticket,” since a win could open the door to more opportunities under his contract. We won’t know if he can pull it off until the end of September.
