Justin Gaethje shocks Ilia Topuria—UFC 250 ends in historic fashion.
Gaethje survives early danger and storms back to stop Topuria in a brutal late-fight turnaround at UFC Freedom 250.

Justin Gaethje finally won the undisputed lightweight title yesterday after forcing Ilia Topuria’s corner to stop the fight between the 4th and 5th rounds. And he did it in his classic style.
Justin Gaethje got off to a strong start right from the first round, and it seemed as though he had no fear of Ilia Topuria ’s power. He immediately started damaging him with hard right hands and hard jabs. However, Ilia Topuria wasn’t going to be defeated that easily. The end of the 1st round and the 2nd round clearly went to Ilia Topuria, and Justin Gaethje had to take quite a few hits during that time. In the second round, Ilia Topuria also takes Justin Gaethje to the ground but is unable to finish him off. In the third round, however, Justin Gaethje makes a strong comeback and inflicts significant damage on Ilia Topuria. The fourth round unfolds similarly, after which his corner finally decides to stop the fight.
“I cannot even believe it ... I knew I was going to have to get through the first round, his skills are unmatched when he’s fresh, but my durability, my tenacity and my heart were going to carry me through.”
said Justin Gaethje after the fight.
Ilia Topuria didn't look good at all after the fight. He suffered severe facial injuries, which were clearly visible.
I think that was a top-tier fight. The two traded blows back and forth in the early rounds, but Justin Gaethje’s mental toughness was especially impressive. He definitely earned the win last night, and I didn’t expect him to put on a performance like that.
