Kongchai Stops Strungari With Ruthless First-Round Knockout

Former Rajadamnern Stadium world champion Kongchai Chanaidonmueang needed just one round to dispatch Moldovan striker Valerii Strungari in the strawweight Muay Thai main event of The Inner Circle on June 5, 2026, at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium.

Kongchai timed the forward-pressing Strungari with a counter left, then went to work downstairs with a left hook to the body followed by a cross.

A sharp left to the midsection set up a crushing knee to the same spot, with a second knee catching Strungari on the way down. He could not beat the count at 1:32 of the first round.

The win pushed Kongchai's record to 79-16 and capped a four-fight winning streak.
