Michael Morales and Ian Garry agree to UFC fight
Michael Morales accepts Ian Garry's November 28 proposal in Saudi Arabia

Michael Morales and Ian Machado Garry seem to have agreed to a fight.
Ian Machado Garry lost his first title fight to Islam Makhachev by decision. That’s why he’s now determined to earn another shot at the title, and to do that, he needs a decisive victory. He’d like to face Michael Morales for that, as he announced shortly after his last loss. Now, Michael Morales has apparently leaked chats in which the two agree to a fight. However, Ian Machado Garry had previously accused him of avoiding him.
“I wanna fight before the end of the year and I’m being told you’re not available. You were able to be the back up for the world title fight but not able to take a fight with me now? You’ve also asked to be a back up for the next title fight, but still not available to fight with me? Looks like someone is avoiding me. Talk all that sh*t online then don’t agree to fight? What’s going on here?”
he wrote.
Michael Morales, however, responded calmly and maintained a clear stance.
“My son, what are you talking about? I fight whenever you want I just want a contract and that’s it I’ll kick your *ss”
he wrote. Ian Machado Garry replied:
“Saudi, Nov. 28. Let’s do it”
Michael Morales has accepted this proposal. The only question that remains is the UFC. For now, we’ll have to wait and see if they finalize the fight, though it would definitely make sense. Carlos Prates is considered the next challenger, and the other two could face off in a title eliminator for now.
I’m really curious to see how the situation unfolds. The welterweight division is pretty exciting and always has a lot of action, in my opinion. I’m really looking forward to the next bouts.
