Navajo Stirling wants to train in Dagestan
The undefeated UFC light heavyweight is open to Islam Makhachev’s offer.

Islam Makhachev has finally found someone willing to take him up on his well-known challenge to come to Dagestan. Islam Makhachev’s legendary line:
"Send two-three years to Dagestan and forget"
It was actually used to urge Daniel Cormier to bring his son to Russia for ring training. In the meantime, however, this phrase has become very well-known on social media and is making the rounds there. Now, the undefeated UFC light heavyweight Navajo Stirling apparently means business and is waiting for an invitation.
He posted a picture on Instagram and said he’d love to accept the offer to train there. He also added that he has no reason to turn down the offer since he doesn’t have a family of his own. The only thing he has against it is that he wouldn’t stay there for 2–3 years right away, but would rather start with 2–3 weeks first.
“I would love to go to Dagestan. I feel like I would dive into the culture. You see Islam throwing out invites, and none of the Americans are taking it. D.C., or he threw one out to Mighty Mouse. They’ve all got kids and whatnot, but man, I ain’t got no kids, bro. If they ever threw me the offer, I don’t know about two or three years, brother, but maybe two or three weeks to start off”
he said.
It would be a really interesting camp and, above all, a lot of fun, when you think about how this whole story started. Do you guys think the two of them are really going to organize a little camp in Dagestan? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
