Oliveira refuses to change his style for BMF title
The Brazilian insists on using all his MMA skills against Diego Lopes rather than chasing a slugfest.

Charles Oliveira isn't letting his BMF title pressure him into engaging in a pure slugfest in his next bout against Diego Lopes. The Brazilian makes it clear that he won't change his fighting style just because of a title, and if fans expect him to do so because of the title, he apparently would even consider giving it back.
"I’m a MMA fighter“
he said.
He emphasizes that as an MMA fighter, he has to use all his strengths. If he were to avoid grappling and end up losing because of it, he’d have to face harsh criticism. For Charles Oliveira, what matters most in the end is the result, not necessarily how he got there. Sure, it’s always cool to watch when fighters take a certain risk to maybe knock out their opponent, but sometimes it just isn’t worth it. With Diego Lopes, Charles Oliveira has to be prepared for quite a few dangers. To do that, he needs to continue developing without changing his style just to meet certain expectations. So he’ll obviously stick to his style, which is a very good approach. Under no circumstances should he change anything just because he holds a title and risk losing that way. What do you think?
