Paddy Pimblett claims Movsar Evloev quit against Volkanovski
Pimblett believes Evloev could have survived the second round if he had kept moving instead of covering up.

Paddy Pimblett believes that Movsar Evloev could have theoretically survived the second round against Alexander Volkanovski.
Movsar Evloev had a 20-0 record heading into the fight and challenged Alexander Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight title on Saturday night. Alexander Volkanovski won the fight via TKO in the final seconds of the second round, but Paddy Pimblett believes that Movsar Evloev gave up too early.
According to him, Movsar Evloev could certainly have made it to the third round if he had moved around instead of just defending.
“Evloev quit there for me, like. Just rolled over. When there's five seconds left, you just gotta keep moving so the fight stays on. You can't start just covering up”
he said on his YouTube channel.
Movsar Evloev had racked up some impressive wins leading up to the loss, which is why many considered him a very dangerous contender. The loss wasn’t exactly a surprise, but some fans were understandably disappointed. However, Alexander Volkanovski seemed open to a rematch after the victory, which might give Movsar Evloev another chance. What do you think?
