Paddy Pimblett plans to taunt Ilia Topuria again
The Brit wants to bring their infamous hand sanitizer bottle to a future press conference.

Paddy Pimblett plans to keep provoking his longtime rival Ilia Topuria and is hoping for another joint UFC press conference.
The two already got into a heated altercation once in 2022. At that time, Paddy Pimblett threw a bottle at Ilia Topuria before security could intervene. The Brit claims he has kept that very bottle, and that it’s now even on display at his gym.
If another press conference does indeed take place, Paddy Pimblett plans to bring that very bottle with him again.
“I hope [Ilia is next], I hate him. He got a push because of the stuff with me. He got pushed fast through the rankings because of it. No one knew who he was. I’ve always got that exact bottle of hand sanitizer that I threw at his head… I’ve signed it and now it’s just sat in the gym. So, if I do ever fight him and have a press conference with him, that will be coming with me. And I’ll just sit it on the desk. It’ll be quite funny”
he said.
This rivalry has been going on for a long time and began with a dispute between Paddy Pimblett and a friend of Ilia Topuria. However, the conflict then spread to the former champion as well, and thus a new rivalry was formed.
In the ring, Paddy Pimblett started the year with a loss to Justin Gaethje, but quickly bounced back with a win over Benoît Saint Denis.
Ilia Topuria also suffered his first loss this year and lost his lightweight title. Maybe the two will face off again someday, it would certainly be an exciting matchup.
