Stevenson attracts interest after Zuffa exit

Shakur Stevenson could join DAZN or Jake Paul's MVP as he explores his options for 2027.

Stevenson attracts interest after Zuffa exit

Shakur Stevenson is clearly attracting a lot of interest following his split with Dana White.

After negotiations with Devin Haney under Zuffa fell through, the pound-for-pound technical fighter decided to leave the organization. Ultimately, he was released from his contract without ever having fought a single bout. Now he’s a free agent and is hoping that new major opportunities will arise in 2027. DAZN has reportedly already shown strong interest, especially since they’ve already signed Devin Haney. If that works out and Shakur Stevenson is interested in the sport as well as the money, we could see him on DAZN, and the mega-fight could be rescheduled. However, Jake Paul ’s MVP is also very interested. He’s been trying for quite some time to sign well-known figures to further build up his organization. It’s certainly an interesting option for Shakur Stevenson as well. However, there’s also the possibility that he won’t sign a contract at all. We’ve seen this happen a few times in the past, for example with Floyd Mayweather. If he does that, he’d definitely secure the biggest purses. But it remains to be seen what will actually happen in the end. What do you think?

I hope he signs with DAZN and tries to make a rematch with Devin Haney happen there. That would be my favorite outcome because I'd just love to see that fight. What do you guys think?
