Terence Crawford back in training, comeback next?
The retired three-division undisputed champion has returned to the gym to help Lester Martinez, but fans are already wondering if a comeback could be on the horizon.

Terence Crawford is back in training, but not with the usual goal of preparing for a fight. This time, he's just there to help out. He’s assisting Lester Martinez to get him perfectly prepared for his fight against Luka Plantic.
But the mere fact that he’s back in training has sparked a lot of speculation about a possible comeback. Terence Crawford retired last December with a record of 42-0, including 31 KOs.
On social media, he said:
"I gotta get back in the gym and get in some shape if I wanna get back in there with you bro"
Regarding Lester Martinez.
He is about to face his most important bout in the division against Luka Plantic. A victory in that fight would very likely secure a world title shot for the current WBC interim world champion. Titleholder Christian Mbilli will first defend his title against Saul Alvarez before anything else can happen. Saul Alvarez was also Terence Crawford’s last opponent. After his victory, he ended his career as the undisputed world champion in three weight classes. Following the fight, Saul Alvarez expressed regret that he hadn’t included a rematch clause in the contract, but he recently hinted at interest in a rematch. Terence Crawford, however, doesn’t seem quite ready to respond to that yet. He has not yet indicated any official desire to return. He is expected to be at Lester Martinez’s side on August 29, but whether he will ever step back into the ring remains a big question. Will Terence Crawford really step back into the ring, or will he end his career with an unblemished record and as a three-time world champion?
Personally, I don't think Terence Crawford will make a comeback. Sure, it's possible, especially if you see him back in training, even if it's just to help another boxer prepare. Still, I think he's happy with where he is right now and isn't going to give that up anytime soon.
