Tsarukyan confident about his next title shot

The Armenian expects to fight for UFC gold regardless of who his next opponent will be.

Tsarukyan confident about his next title shot

Arman Tsarukyan is ready to face Alexander Volkanovski, provided that a UFC title is on the line in that bout.

Alexander Volkanovski recently successfully defended his title against the previously undefeated Movsar Evloev. Afterward, he expressed interest in a bout with Justin Gaethje for one of the two titles. However, since he has not yet responded, Alexander Volkanovski also offered Arman Tsarukyan the chance to compete for the vacant title should Justin Gaethje actually retire.

For Arman Tsarukyan, however, the opponent plays a minor role; it's the title that matters most. He has been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, as he has recently felt that the UFC has been neglecting him a bit.

“I’m ready for everyone. For me, it doesn’t matter who I’m gonna fight; I just want to fight for the title”

he said.

This time, though, Arman Tsarukyan seems much more confident than usual. Normally, he’s always had serious doubts about whether he’d get a title shot or not. This time, that’s not the case, he’s certain that his next fight will be for a title. What do you think?

I hope that’s how it turns out. By now, he’s really earned it, and anything else would be an outrage. I think he has to get this title shot now, otherwise, the UFC would really be showing that they have some kind of problem with him, since his performances can no longer be ignored. What do you think?
