Tyson Fury will fight by november no matter what

Tyson Fury's brother, Shane, has announced that Tyson Fury will definitely fight again by the end of this year, even if it isn't against Anthony Joshua.

So far, the two are still contractually obligated to fight later this year. However, nothing official has been announced yet, as some sources claim there are constant complications. This is hard to understand, though, since the issue of the location was supposedly already settled. Anthony Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn are adamant that the fight take place in the UK. The other side, however, doesn’t want that, since the fight would be most commercially successful if held in the U.S. Eddie Hearn initially fought strongly against it, but he later said the issue was settled, since the fight will ultimately just have to take place somewhere. Shane said in an interview with Boxing King Media that he no longer really believes the fight will happen, but that Tyson Fury will definitely fight.

“The more I’m watching it, the less I’m thinking that this fight’s gonna happen. The fight’s on 20 November, time’s rolling on. It don’t affect us, because we’re fighting on that date anyway. Tyson’s over in America now, training as we speak. He’s got his nutritionist with him, he’s got his strength and conditioning [coach], he’s got his trainer. He’s training, so if it’s not [Joshua], Tyson will be fighting on that day, so it really don’t affect us. It really makes no difference to us, because we will fight on that date either way”

he said.

Shane is also open to the idea of his brother facing Agit Kabayel. However, this is unlikely, as an opponent for the WBC heavyweight title is expected to be announced as early as next week. If that happens, they’d have to find another replacement, which isn’t exactly easy right now. It’s still very exciting to see what will happen with the two of them. It's a shame they haven't faced each other in years due to contractual difficulties, a repeat of that scenario would be a bitter outcome.
