Tyson Fury won’t wait for Anthony Joshua fight

Fury says he’ll keep fighting and even organize his own boxing events if negotiations with Anthony Joshua drag on.

Tyson Fury doesn't seem willing to wait long for the fight between him and Anthony Joshua to be organized. If the negotiations take longer than expected, Tyson Fury will simply keep fighting.

In an interview, he explained that the most important thing for him is to stay active. If he has to wait a long time for his fight against Anthony Joshua, he would simply like to organize a boxing event himself.

“If my fight with Joshua doesn’t happen in the next few months, guess what I’m going to do again? I’m going to put a show on in the Isle of Man myself. I put these shows on every two minutes”

he told The Stomping Ground.

Besides, it's not about how much money he spends on it; the main thing is that he's organized something. Tyson Fury himself is convinced that the frequency of his fights plays a particularly big role when it comes to his performance.

“I want to stay match fit. I could do 12 fights. When you’re fit, and you’re ready to go, and you’re active, fighting, you become better every time you do it”

he said.

He also sees Friday’s fight against Mariusz Wach as another opportunity to improve his form.

Anthony Joshua is also fighting this weekend. If he defeats his opponent Kristian Prenga, attention should shift back to their super fight relatively quickly. However, Tyson Fury has made it clear that he won’t wait for the negotiations to conclude.

I think Tyson Fury is doing exactly the right thing here. He shouldn’t stay inactive for too long, and he’s making that very clear. I think it’s good that, in the event of a delay, he’s considering organizing his own boxing events in the meantime.
