Volkanovski predicts Holloway to finish McGregor

Alexander Volkanovski believes Max Holloway’s pressure, pace, and improved boxing will be too much for Conor McGregor in their long-awaited rematch.

The current UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski has shared his prediction for the Max Holloway vs. Conor McGregor fight on YouTube.

In his video, a clear opinion emerges that ultimately favors Max Holloway. He is certain that Max Holloway will avenge his 2013 loss and even the overall record between the two fighters to 1-1.

Alexander Volkanovski, who has won all three of his fights against Max Holloway, explained his opinion in his YouTube video by saying that Max Holloway’s speed and pressure will overwhelm Conor McGregor.

“He's just going to eventually have his way. I'm going to have to go Max Holloway for the win. Can it be a finish? 100%. If Max gets you tired, he's so good at going in for the kill. And, yeah, he's even getting much better in the pocket. Justin Gaethje (at UFC 300) firing bombs, you know what I mean? Still being able to dodge the punches amongst that sort of brawl. I think it's just going to be too much for Conor, and you're going to just see Max get his hand raised, maybe get a finish.”

His opinion is based on past fights, which naturally favor Max Holloway, since Conor McGregor has been away for five years.

On one hand, we have Max Holloway, who is seeking revenge to make up for the previous fight, and on the other, we have Conor McGregor, who naturally wants to make a perfect comeback and return to the sport successfully.

However, Alexander Volkanovski’s opinion is clear, and he is certain that Max Holloway will ultimately emerge as the winner of the fight.

I totally get why people say Max Holloway will win, simply because he’s been active the whole time Conor McGregor hasn’t been fighting. Still, personally, I would never underestimate Conor McGregor. That’s why I’m not sure who will win. I wouldn’t say either one has a clear advantage.
